What is solar air conditioning?
The solar air conditioner has develop 4 generations. First G is traditional aircon + off grid inverter, the second G is the solar thermal type solar air conditioner, the 3rd G is the 48V compressor solar air conditioner and buid-in a booster in outdoor unit. Sunpal solar air conditioning is the 4th G, it can use the same A/C unit for different solar aircon system like the ACDC Hybrid solar air conditioning system and the off grid solar air conditioning system.

How many solar panels do I need to power an air conditioner?
For 12.000 Btu, and the palce where the sunshine is good and loog.
If we use 3 pcs 72Cell solar panel, it worked without any problem until around 4 pm. If use 4pcs, it kept going until almost 7 pm.
At 6 pm it was just the fan that started to work, but it kept sending cool breeze from what was left in the unit and recirculating the cool air that was left in the room, so that was great. The units are able to work even without any help from the grid.
